AANC Member Requirement

As part of the new AANC policy, ALL AANC members are required to complete 4 hours of CE each year — regardless of age.

This policy ensures we continue raising the professional standard of our association and the services we provide to our clients.

North Carolina CE Requirements (Non-AANC Members)

The North Carolina requirements are as follows:

  • 4 Hours of CE must be completed by May 15th
  • Up to 4 hours may be rolled over (banked)
  • Licensed NC Auctioneers in Active status who are over 65 years of age and have been licensed at least five years are exempt from the annual 4-hour CE requirement

Regardless of exemption status, all licensees are allowed and strongly encouraged to complete continuing education courses, including those offered through this program.

Please note: This exemption applies only to auctioneers. It does not apply to apprentice auctioneers or designated person(s) of a firm.
