Jesse G. Meeks Board Member
jessemeeks@earthlink.net Mr. Meeks is a third year candidate for CAI through the Auctioneers Marketing Institute. He currently holds an auction license in North Carolina and Virginia, and is a North Carolina Real Estate Broker. He is a member of both the National Auctioneers Association and the Auctioneers Association of North Carolina where he serves on the Board of Directors. He is the owner of Jesse Meeks Real Estate Auction & Appraisal, LLC. He specializes in real estate auctions and has done some unique sales such as selling a train depot, a courthouse, an airport, the home of former NC Governor Reid, and beach property. Mr. Meeks was appointed to the North Carolina Licensing Board in July of 2003. |

Willie Johnson Chairperson
willieaj@worldnet.att.net Mr. Johnson served two years in the U.S. Army, 13 months of which he served in Vietnam with the 25th Infantry Division. He received a degree in Business Administration from GTCC and later attended North Carolina A&T University. In 1989, Mr. Johnson enrolled at Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and was licensed as an auctioneer in August of 1989. In 1993, Mr. Johnson attended Dan Mohr Real Estate School. Passing the state exam he received his real estate broker license. Mr. Johnson is an active member in the Greensboro Regional REALTORS Association, North Carolina Association REALTORS and National REALTORS Association. As an active member in the Auctioneers Association of North Carolina, Mr. Johnson has served in many positions. In January 2005, he was installed as president of the AANC. Mr. Johnson is also an active member of the National Auctioneers Association. As operator of Willie Johnson Auctioneer & Associates he conducts auctions in real estate and personal properties. Mr. Johnson was appointed in August 2005 to a three year term. |

Lloyd "Mickey" Meekins, Jr Board Member
info@meekinsauction.com Lloyd "Mickey" Meekins, Jr. is the owner and president of Lloyd Meekins & Sons Auction Company located in Lumberton, NC. He attended the Nashville School of Auctioneering and became a licensed auctioneer joining his father in the family business. He also attended the USC School of Real Estate, and received his real estate broker's license. Mr. Meekins is a licensed broker in North Carolina and currently holds auctioneering licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky. He is an active member of both the National Auctioneers Association and Auctioneers Association of North Carolina of which he serves on the board of directors. Mr. Meekins specializes in construction and agricultural equipment and real estate auctions. Mr. Meekins was appointed in July 2006 for a three-year term. |

William M. O`Neal (Bill), GPPA Board Member
boneal1@carolina.rr.com Mr. O`Neal worked in Human Resource Management for twenty-one years prior to graduating from Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and becoming an auctioneer in 1993. He earned his GPPA (Graduate Personal Property Appraiser) through the Auction Marketing Institute and specializes in vintage car appraisals. Mr. O`Neal is the 1999-2000 North Carolina State Champion Auctioneer. He is a member of both the National Auctioneers Association and the Auctioneers Association of North Carolina where he served as President and Chairman of the Board. Mr. O`Neal owns O`Neal`s Auction and Appraisal Services and is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. He is a volunteer instructor for Stanly Community College in Albemarle, North Carolina and is a volunteer fund-raiser for St. Jude`s Children`s Research Hospital. He is currently a board member and Past President of the Carolina Regional Mustang Club. He was inducted into the Auctioneers Association of North Carolina`s Hall of Fame in January 2005. Mr. O`Neal was appointed in July 2003 to a three year term. |

Jean W. Woolard Vice Chairperson
jean@jeanwoolard.com Ms. Woolard holds a B. S. Degree and a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from East Carolina University. She retired from Plymouth High School as the Teacher/Coordinator of a Business and Office Occupations Program. Ms. Woolard is a member of the North Carolina Association of Educators and a lifetime member of the National Education Association. She has held offices in the NCAE and the NEA on the local, regional, and state levels and served as a delegate to many state and national conventions. After her retirement from the classroom, Ms. Woolard worked for a number of years with the North Carolina Teacher Academy and has been a partner in several retail shops, including antiques. As an antiques dealer, she became interested in auctions. Ms. Woolard has been active in politics for many years, having chaired successful campaigns for several state representatives and working as a liaison for the NCAE in campaigns to elect an education-friendly General Assembly. Ms. Woolard was appointed to the N. C. Auctioneer Licensing Board in 2005 and is currently serving a three-year term representing the public at large. |
